Refund and Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: July 25, 2026
This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all subscriptions, credit purchases, and other paid services provided through LoftCue.
1. Subscription Billing
LoftCue subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan selected by the user.
By purchasing a subscription, the user authorizes LoftCue and its payment processor to charge the applicable subscription fee and taxes at the beginning of each billing period until automatic renewal is canceled.
The subscription price, billing period, included credits, and renewal terms are displayed before the purchase is completed.
2. Immediate Credit Allocation
Credits included in a subscription are added to the user's LoftCue account immediately or shortly after successful payment confirmation.
By completing the purchase, the user requests that LoftCue begin providing the paid service immediately and acknowledges that LoftCue may incur non-recoverable artificial intelligence processing, infrastructure, storage, and third-party service costs as soon as credits are used.
3. Cancellation of Automatic Renewal
A user may cancel automatic renewal at any time through the available account billing settings.
Cancellation:
- prevents the subscription from renewing for the next billing period;
- does not reverse the current subscription payment;
- does not terminate the current paid billing period immediately;
- does not create a right to a refund; and
- does not refund unused subscription time or credits.
After cancellation, the subscription remains active until the end of the current paid billing period. The user may continue using the remaining credits and paid features until that period ends.
4. Subscription Payments Are Non-Refundable
Except where a refund is expressly required by applicable law, all subscription payments are final and non-refundable after payment has been successfully processed and the subscription credits have been made available to the user.
LoftCue does not provide full, partial, or prorated refunds for:
- cancellation during an active billing period;
- unused subscription time;
- unused or expired credits;
- failure to use the subscription;
- accidental purchases;
- purchases made using the wrong account;
- failure to cancel before a renewal date;
- changes in the user's business or personal circumstances;
- dissatisfaction with generated content;
- incompatibility with the user's intended workflow;
- failure to review the subscription price or included credits before purchase; or
- a user changing their mind after completing the purchase.
This rule applies to both monthly and annual subscriptions.
5. No Refunds After Credit Usage
A subscription payment is strictly non-refundable after the user has used any portion of the credits allocated for that subscription period, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
Using credits constitutes consumption of the paid service.
A user is not entitled to a refund after using some or all of the credits included in the subscription, including where the user:
- claims that the subscription was purchased by mistake;
- claims that the wrong subscription plan was selected;
- uses the credits shortly after completing the purchase;
- uses all available credits before requesting cancellation;
- no longer needs the generated content;
- does not publish, download, or otherwise use the generated output;
- is dissatisfied with the commercial performance of generated content; or
- requests a refund after LoftCue has already incurred processing or third-party service costs.
For example, a user who purchases a subscription containing 2,000 credits and then uses those credits is not eligible for a refund of the subscription payment, even if the credits were used immediately after purchase.
Cancellation after using credits only prevents future subscription renewals. It does not reverse the completed purchase or the associated usage.
6. Credit Consumption
Credits may be deducted when the user submits, confirms, or initiates an eligible generation or processing request.
Credits may be considered consumed when LoftCue or a third-party provider begins processing the request and incurs processing costs.
LoftCue may return credits to the user's account when a request fails because of a confirmed technical error and no usable result is produced. Returning credits is the standard remedy for a failed generation and does not entitle the user to a monetary refund.
LoftCue is not required to return credits solely because:
- the result did not match the user's subjective expectations;
- artificial intelligence generated an imperfect or unsuitable output;
- the user submitted incorrect, incomplete, low-quality, or incompatible source materials;
- the user selected incorrect generation settings;
- the user changed their mind after submitting the request; or
- the user does not use the completed result.
7. Additional Credit Purchases
Separate purchases of additional credit packs are final and non-refundable once the credits have been added to the user's LoftCue account.
Additional credits:
- have no cash value;
- cannot be redeemed for money;
- cannot be transferred between accounts;
- cannot be resold;
- cannot be refunded separately; and
- are subject to any expiration terms displayed at the time of purchase.
No refund will be provided after any credits from an additional credit pack have been used.
8. Accidental Purchases
Claiming that a subscription or credit purchase was accidental does not automatically qualify the user for a refund.
Users are responsible for reviewing the selected plan, billing period, price, included credits, and renewal terms before confirming payment.
LoftCue may, at its sole discretion, consider a refund request for a genuinely accidental purchase only when:
- the request is submitted promptly;
- no subscription or purchased credits have been used;
- no generation or processing request has been initiated;
- no material third-party processing costs have been incurred; and
- no previous refund exception has been granted to the same user or account.
LoftCue is not obligated to approve such a request.
Once any credits have been used, an accidental-purchase refund will not be available except where required by applicable law.
9. Refunds Required by Law
Nothing in this Policy excludes or restricts consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
Where applicable law requires a refund, cancellation right, cooling-off period, or right of withdrawal, LoftCue will comply with that requirement.
Where legally permitted, the amount of any required refund may be reduced to account for services already provided, credits already used, processing already completed, or non-recoverable costs already incurred.
10. Consequences of a Refund or Payment Reversal
If LoftCue issues a refund, or if a payment is reversed or charged back, LoftCue may immediately:
- terminate the related subscription;
- revoke all unused credits associated with the payment;
- cancel pending generation requests;
- disable access to paid features;
- suspend or terminate the user's account;
- invalidate access to generated outputs associated with the refunded payment; and
- prevent the account or payment method from making additional purchases.
A refund or payment reversal does not allow the user to retain both the refunded payment and the benefits, credits, processing, or access purchased with that payment.
Where credits have already been used, LoftCue reserves the right, where permitted by law, to recover the value of services already consumed and any costs resulting from an improper payment dispute.
11. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Users should contact LoftCue at [support@loftcue.io](mailto:support@loftcue.io) before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute so that the issue can be investigated.
Initiating a chargeback does not establish that the user is legally or contractually entitled to a refund.
When responding to a payment dispute, LoftCue may provide the payment processor, card network, issuing bank, or other relevant institution with evidence including:
- the accepted Terms of Use and Refund and Cancellation Policy;
- the date and time of acceptance;
- payment authorization records;
- subscription and checkout information;
- the user's IP address and device information;
- account login history;
- credit allocation records;
- credit usage and generation logs;
- generated output records;
- download or export activity;
- cancellation records; and
- communications between the user and LoftCue.
LoftCue may suspend the affected account and prevent further credit usage while a payment dispute is pending.
Accounts associated with fraudulent, abusive, or repeated chargebacks may be permanently terminated.
12. Duplicate Charges and Confirmed Billing Errors
Users who believe that they were charged more than once for the same purchase or affected by a confirmed technical billing error should contact [support@loftcue.io](mailto:support@loftcue.io).
If LoftCue confirms a duplicate charge or billing error, LoftCue may issue an appropriate refund or account adjustment.
A correctly authorized subscription renewal, failure to cancel before renewal, or use of subscription credits is not considered a billing error.
13. Discretionary Exceptions
LoftCue may issue a refund or account credit in exceptional circumstances at its sole discretion.
Any discretionary refund:
- does not establish a right to future refunds;
- does not modify this Policy;
- does not constitute an admission of liability; and
- may be conditioned on the revocation of credits, generated outputs, or account access associated with the refunded payment.
14. Contact
Questions, cancellation issues, billing concerns, and refund requests must be submitted to:
[support@loftcue.io](mailto:support@loftcue.io)
Users should include the email address associated with their LoftCue account and sufficient information to identify the relevant transaction.
